i am so happy this movie is finally coming out. " atagoal" by hiroshi masumura is one of my favorite mangas of all time.
it's set in a crazy fantasy world in the forest where cats and humans live together and have all kinds of fun. hideyoshi, the fat selfish cat who only thinks about food, drinking, and pleasure is the greatest, if we can all live like him....
the computer graphics is a bit of a turn-off, but for those of you in japan, if you buy tickets now at ebisu garden cinema, it comes with a keychain of hideyoshi, i am on my way to ebisu now.
