earthday market

it's been raining all week but today it was just cloudy (but still VERY humid) so i went to the earthday food market in shibuya. more and more people in japan are conscious about what they eat these days, and organic whole foods are catching on. today i saw some "duck rice" which is rice made without using any chemicals. instead of chemicals, they have ducks eat all the bugs that feed on the rice. and then after the ducks get all fat and plump from eating all the bugs, humans can them, too! so you can get good duck meat and organic rice at the same time. . . .good system, but how come "duck rice" is so expensive? to eat well in the city, you have to be rich.
