james and amy were here from new york last week. james plays in the band yo la tengo, and amy is his girlfriend, they are our good friend, and love characters and figures....so where else to take them but broadway in nakano? and nakano also has so many great ramen places which james loves. we ate at "aoba" which is ranked among the top 10 ramen place in tokyo.
i was afraid broadway might be too much of an "otaku" place for them, but they seemed to enjoy all the chaos and picked up some nice items to take home. the photo is a drawing james did of his own bunny character dressed in a coctails black suit!
